Gay

How do you feel when you read this word? What does it bring up for you? If it's the name you were taunted with at school before you were even aware you were gay or even if you were aware you were gay you may have developed negative 'feeling' attachments to it because it was used as a term of abuse, it was used in negative ways by those that wanted to hurt you. It may have been used in an alienating way in newspapers and news reports like when used in phrases as 'the gays.' So today I am offering you a chance to make amends with the word 'GAY.'

This is a chance to see this word and all it represents as positive and good.

Today I challenge you that when you use the word gay and I support you to use it uncensored today. That in your mind as you say it or when you hear it I want you to replace it with the word ....Bold.....

And then I challenge you to replace it with Courageous and Capable

And then I challenge you to replace it with Beautiful & Adorable

And then I challenge you to replace it with Responsible & Masterful

And then I challenge you to replace it with Strong & Wonderful

And then I challenge you to replace it with Fabulous & Intelligent

And then I challenge you to replace it with Talented

And then I challenge you to replace it with LOVE

And so today I support you to say:

'I am proud to be GAY.'

And as you say it know that you also mean all these words above.
